2014 Blog 307: Speechless

Sometimes we get speechless by the many thoughts we have in mind.   Sometimes they clutter together.. that it becomes incomprehensible.   Sometimes it hurts too much.. that you’d rather not say.  Sometimes it is unbelievable that you just want to skip the effort of explaining.  So never mind. Sometimes the feeling is too beautiful..that you cannot find the right words for it.  Sometimes there are just no words.  Sometimes it does not make sense.. so you just leave it unspoken.    But no words  are kept hidden forever.  They all reveal in time.. in some ways.  So you can be speechless..  for now.

Are you? Speechless?

2014 Blog 280: Fall Frolic

It is pretty outside.  The autumn colors is definitely now beautifully sweeping the landscape.  Once more, there is the significance change of season.  Such a reflection of time that is now slowly passing by.  Once more,  there is this another year slipping away, off our hands.  No matter how much we embrace it,  it just glides away.  The wind comes blowing kisses as if it’s the last time.   But not really.  For goodbyes means returns.  And so we shall meet again, my Summer.   So, Hello  Autumn.  I am glad that I found time to doodle you today.

How about we all Fall Up?

2014 Blog 134: Thoughtless But Not Really

I now sit here and wonder, what I may write down.owlcolored
I browsed through my memories of the day.
I skimmed through my day notes.
I searched within my heart.
I just had such a good day.
Should I share all that are in my head right now?
Hmmm.. that might be too dangerous.
Should I share all the feelings that I have right now?
That might be too careless.
I have the tendency to write out loud
which I should probably refrain.
So for now I can just say
it has been a very pleasant day
simply doing what a mother would dare.
..
So for today, I would just share something I just doodled
in between the dotted lines.

Am I thoughtless?

2014 Blog 112: Love Where We Live

Oh Dear Mother Earth
How I love to feel thee.

To walk barefoot.
To feel the ground.
To embrace the air.
To hear your sound.

Can you feel me too?

2014 Blog 100: Time to Doodle Her

When I was small, I remember I would draw things endlessly.  I would make up stories in my head, visualize, and put them on paper.  I remember I keep tons of papers from my Auntie’s printing press so I can use to doodle,  forever.  I don’t do a lot of that anymore since I got married.  But, yes, once in awhile, I still do.  Tonight. I would like to share you a little bit of my so rare doodle time.  This is what I came up for you, just now.

Her name is Shaadpilaqqetpihayely.   A nice smile has come out of the picture, so I think she is just pleasantly happy.   Her eyes are closed, and I think she is just feeling the love inside her.  She got some flowers beaded on her long lovely tinted hair.   She does love being a girl.   She beautifully wears purple earrings and blue necklace.    She likes jewelries made from earth beads, not the golden jewelries.  And well, she is somewhat naked.  I think.

I love my so rare doodle time.

What do you think of Shaadpilaqqetpihayely?

2014 Blog 075: It is Holi

For our friends from India, today is the festival of colors. This is one of the festivals that interests me. No, I have not celebrated it before. I have just seen it on photos and video clips. My indian friends have talked about it. In this festival, people would throw or smudge colored powder on each other, even on strangers. Most people end up getting colored from head to toe! It is pretty fun. I was intrigued by the powder they use so I went to my nearby Indian Stores and searched for what they call Holi Powder. Guess what. At the third store I visited, I found some. And I got some ..yellow, green, and red! ooooohlala! And of course I tried it out with the kids. We sprinkled it nicely on our feet, and on the ground, and played with it on foot. The colors are beautiful and it is so fun getting dirty with colors! I think this is a good idea for backyard parties just before doing water fight. Just when you buy a pouch, check the ingredients in case of skin sensitivity.

I am not an Indian but I love their food and their Holi Festivity!

Are you in indian mood today?
